Children’s Ballet

Ballet program specifically for children aged 4–12

🎓 Ministry of Education Certified Program

About the Program

Our Children’s Ballet Program is a comprehensive educational process tailored to the age and developmental level of our students, fostering discipline, a love of art, and creativity. In our program, students learn fundamental ballet techniques while simultaneously developing their posture, balance, coordination, sense of rhythm, body awareness, and creativity.

Our students aged 4-6 receive training in preparatory classes. The aim during this period is to help children develop a loving connection with ballet, teach fundamental movements in a fun and safe environment, and support their physical development. Students are classified according to age groups, and classes are held for two hours per week.

From the age of 6, our students progress to Technical Ballet classes according to their physical fitness and skill level. During the technical training process, the fundamentals of classical ballet are systematically developed, while at later levels, Character Dance, Modern Dance, and Jazz Dance training are also included in the program. In this way, students develop in a multifaceted way, both technically and artistically.

Our courses are taught by instructors who are conservatory graduates and experienced in child development. Our aim is to support the development of our students into confident, disciplined, aesthetically minded, creative, and art-sensitive individuals.

Ekin Akbaş Ballet and Dance education system distinguishes itself from other institutions with its approach that nurtures not only the technical development of students but also their creativity. We offer our students a strong and unique foundation in both technical and artistic aspects.

Our students, who successfully complete 8 years of basic training and 4 years of advanced ballet programs, are entitled to receive their Ministry of National Education-approved ballet instructor diplomas after completing their in-house internships.
