About the Program
Our Modern Dance program is a comprehensive dance education that develops body awareness, creativity and technique together. Students learn the fundamental techniques of modern dance while gaining flexibility, coordination, balance, rhythm and stage-presence skills.
As the training advances, improvisation, movement generation, choreography and stage work deepen the artistic side of modern dance and support students in forming their own movement language. Our classes are taught by experienced, conservatory-graduate instructors at our studio on Bağdat Avenue, Kadıköy.
Creative Dance (Before Primary-School Graduation)
Students who have not yet graduated from primary school train in our Creative Dance class. The aim is for the child to meet movement, music and improvisation freely, and to develop body awareness, rhythm, coordination and creativity through a play-based approach. There is no technical expectation; while discovering their own movement language, students build a solid foundation for future modern and contemporary dance training.
Modern Dance (After Primary-School Graduation)
In line with Ministry of Education regulations, our Modern Dance program is intended for students who have completed primary school. After primary-school graduation, students of all ages — including youth and adults — can join this program. Students learn the fundamental techniques of modern dance while developing flexibility, coordination, balance, conditioning and stage presence; at advancing levels they deepen the artistic side of modern dance through improvisation, movement generation, choreography and stage work.
