🎓 Ministry of Education Certified Program
About the Program
Our Modern Dance Program is a comprehensive arts education that supports body awareness, creativity, and technical development. Throughout the program, students learn the fundamental techniques of modern dance while simultaneously improving their flexibility, coordination, balance, rhythm, fitness, and stage presence skills.
Throughout the training process, floor exercises, balance exercises, turns, jumping techniques, stretching exercises, and movement coordination are systematically applied. As the program progresses, students have the opportunity to explore the artistic aspects of modern dance more deeply through improvisation, movement production, choreography, repertoire, and stage work.
Our modern dance education aims not only for physical development but also to strengthen students’ creativity, unique expressive skills, and connection with art. Through improvisation exercises, individual movement production, and composition practice, the program supports students in developing their own artistic language.
At the advanced level, students have the opportunity to experience professional stage processes through repertoire, choreography, stage use, costumes, set design, and lighting. This allows students to develop in a multifaceted way, both technically and in terms of performance.
The Ekin Akbaş Ballet and Dance education system distinguishes itself from other institutions by focusing not only on developing students’ technical skills but also their creativity and individual expressive abilities. Our training is delivered by experienced instructors who are conservatory graduates and possess strong communication skills with students.
